PS 4 controller won't charge wirelessly

Hello!

I have a titanium blue PS 4 dualshock controller that charges when plugged in via USB, but not wirelessly. I have checked the charging station which works with my original controller. I have also switched the wireless charging leads between the controllers and both leads seem to work with the original controller. What could the problem be?
