Enter key hinge nubs stuck in latch assembly

My enter key started slipping and not working, and it turns out that the key hinge broke, and the nubs on the left side are stuck in the latch mechanism thing. I ordered a new key hinge, but how can I get the nubs out? Would this require an entire key pad replacement?

it’s impossible to take a picture of the nubs, but it’s on the left side of the picture.
