I upgraded my hardrive and ram and now I have no display!

Hi! I upgraded my hardrive and ram and now I have the same problem. No Display! Is there any youtube video out there which shows how to resolve this? Also should you have the laptop connected to the power cord when removing the cmos battery?

You have posted a question as an answer. You should go to this page:

and click on "Ask a Question" near the top right of screen and ask your question giving all the details about your computer make and exact model number and what you did.

Now to answer your second question.

Never have ANY power connected when opening your computer neither battery nor power adapter/charger AND once disconnnected discharge all power from the system by pressing the power button for 5 or 10 seconds.
