Hello I want to replace my battery and upgrade my memory from 16gb to 64 gb but I am having doubts because of ios 14 I haven't done the update to ios 14 however I don't to change the battery and memory then do the update and everything to go bad..My question is the problem whit changing non original parts only why the newer iPhone or it could affect my old 6s also thanks

You will need to read the syscfg data from the NAND that’s on the phone and write it to your new NAND I gather you have a programmer? After you solder the new NAND on you will have to do a full restore with whatever IOS apple is signing at the time so there is no need to update now. Just change the battery.
