Why won't my switch charge?

My switch was on low battery and so I found a cable and tried it. It was a tight of a fit so I pushed it in and may have a heard a small crack, but the console showed it was charging so I left it.

Next morning it won't charge, just a blck screen. No indicator that it's charging or anything. I tried multiple cables and resetting the console but it stays a black screen. Turns out the charger I tried to use had a bent tip and may have damaged the switch. How do I fix it?
