one of the grey wires that feed the LEDs is nonexistent
@jayeff Thank you for your information! I have a 55" Samsung LED TV with a similar problem, there is sound and display with a flashlight applied, but one of the grey wires that feed the LEDs is nonexistent and the other two are around 300 volts. The wires are sound and I have reflowed all exposed solder on all boards. If I short one of the terminals for the LEDs to ground I get all LEDs to fire and it runs until it loses power and then goes back to a black screen. Kind of a dangerous way to watch TV...
Hi @mountainyooper ,
What is the model number of the TV?
Post a close up image of the power board showing the LED connector as I'm not sure what you mean when you say "...one of the grey wires that feed the LEDs is nonexistent and the other two are around 300 volts"
Here's how to do this 在已经存在的问题里加入图片
Are there 3 grey wires then?
There should be an equal number of wires i.e +ve and -ve (if marked as such) as the LED power for each LED strip feeds out on the +ve wire and returns on the -ve
