Keyboard and mouse not working
before I unplugged my keyboard and mouse from the pc its still working, then i unplugged both of them and put it in my laptop when i try to return it to computer, it only have lights but no response from the keyboard and mouse. i tried a different mouse and it still wont recognize it. what can i do?

what is the make and model number of the desktop PC or the make and model number of the motherboard if it is a custom build?
Did you have the keyboard plugged in before starting the desktop again?
Do the keyboard and mouse still work OK when reconnected to the laptop?
