Webcam error after replacing (NDC001)
Hi,
So I have been recently having some issues with the webcam on this Macbook Air (Early 2014) where it would work, but the image would break up and it was a bit hit and miss whether or not you’d actually get a clear image.
So I replaced the webcam, and since then, the webcam is not recognised at all, and I get an NCD001 error when running Apple Diagnostics. I can confirm that the camera cable is connected, the battery was disconnected whilst replacing, and the cable for the webcam seems to be in very good condition.
Does anyone have any idea what I can try next?
What part did you replace the camera unit at the top or the cable which leads out the hinge?
Also what was the part source?

I replaced the camera unit with an identical from a company called Replace Base. But even if I plug the old one in, the camera is no longer recognised at all.
