Volume button bracket removal

I am doing a housing swap on an iphone 11 pro max and the new housing didnt come with the volume buttons in place but I have to remove the bracket holding the volume buttons into the frame but I dont understand how to remove it??

There is a latch holding in each one of the buttons, you need something small like flat head tweezers to pull on side upwards, once you have one side out you can then just pop the other side up. They are quite tough to pull out so require some force.
