The keyboard in my wife’s Macbook Pro 13” early 2015 has stopped working. The trackpad still works, but no response from the keyboard (except the power button).
I tried to reset the SMC and PRAM, but I don’t think that worked, which makes me think it is a hardware issue with the keyboard itself. Any suggestions on next steps to try?

@Jeremy Moseley - I'm sure you have a bad cable as its a common issue in this series if your battery is failing as the pressure on the cable damages it MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Trackpad Cable as it gets compressed against the bottom cover.
I would get a better view of things, install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see 在已经存在的问题里加入图片 so we can check to see if your battery needs replacing too!

I agree. Although I’d suggest just ordering the cable and any tools you’ll need first. The trackpad cable is actually quite inexpensive, so are the tools. Once they arrive, dig in, swap out and try it out. Of course, back up first. Good luck
So the keyboard started working again today, so I think you are all bang on that its something to do with a loose cable.
I'm going to take the advice to get a replacement cable and the tools, and I will swap it out and reseat it.
