Hello.
It might be a problem with the TV remote.
Usually, giving it a little tap on your hand or lap (not hard enough to break it or spoil anything inside it, of course) should get it working.
Or else, you can check if the batteries in the remote are still working well by putting it in another remote or device and seeing if it will work.
If the batteries are not working, a new set of batteries should get your remote back in order.

Hi,
What do you mean by "volume not working"? The actual sound level i.e. no sound or the adjustment of the sound level?
Is it working OK again now or still not?
What is the model number of the TV?
