Can I register to Uniden D1760 an older uniden phone?

Hi,

I have a Uniden D1760-2 phone - a base and a handset.

I would like to register to this base, a handset of type:

“Uniden dect 5100”. This handset does not match the base in order to register by putting it in the base unit.

I have already tried this method: disconnected base unit from electricity, press “find HS” and re-connect base unit. This should have entered the base unit into registration mode. Then I pressed “#” at the handset to be registered, in order to start registration. Unfotunately, registration failed. Also - There are no led lights of any type in the base unit.

Does D1760 has a backward compatibility?

How can I start registration phase at the base unit?
