LG 55UF8609 Restarts and has defective IO

Hello everyone,

my TV has multiple problems.

At first, there was a problem with the sound after powering on the TV.

I had to wait some minutes until the sound switched from disabled (in the menu) to working (standard, game, etc. in menu).

Then I noticed, that HDMI 1 was no longer working (TV is detected by the PC, but the TV shows “No Signal”). I Tried the port with multiple devices with no success.

Some time later the TV began to restart after seemingly random time and kept restarting. The TV restarts sooner when the ambient temperature is high. It restarted right from the beginning on a really hot day.

I noticed, that the internal TV speaker is no longer functioning (I don’t know since when, since I use the optical out).

I opened the TV and noticed, that the heatsink? of the main board was not sitting on correctly. There is a part of the heatsink, that should go through the main board but was sitting on it and applied pressure to the main board. I reseated the heatsink but it did not solve the problem.

What can I do to repair the TV?
