Check this horizontal wide gray line
LG 49UJ7500 , 2 yrs of use.
Guy at service told me that humidity caused this. Gray line appeared as soon as someone lifted the TV. Should I replace screen?

Hi,
Usually horizontal lines are a panel problem and cannot be fixed. The panel has to be replaced. If you can find a replacement panel that is.
Disconnect the power from the TV and remove the back cover and find the panel number on the back of the panel itself. Searching online using the panel number may help to find a replacement part.
You may find that a replacement part, if you do find one, can be very expensive. An option then to consider is to advertise the TV as LG 49UJ7500 faulty screen -good for parts, to try and recoup some of the cost towards a new TV. Working TV boards are always in demand. Just a thought.
