Phone only powers on when it's open
Hi,
I am trying to fix my iPhone X and whenever I close the phone up and try to power it on, I get a boot loop. If the screen isn’t attached to the phone (flex cables to screen still connected), then it boots just fine. I think it may have to do with the orientation of the flex cable for my ear piece when the screen is snapped back into the phone, although I am not sure.
Check and make sure the cables are not being pinched when you seat the screen assembly. If that doesn’t work try it with out the lcd ribbon shield and screws in case it’s a grounding issue
