Jura Ena 3 brew group motor keeps running.

I’ve found the thread for the same problem with another type of Jura machine.

The brewing mechanism moved to the top position but the motor keeps turning.

In that thread there was a suggestion about either replacing the gear(s) or possibly the motor itself. The gears look fine for now, altough this issue is stripping them.

In my case however I had removed and cleaned the brewing mechanism and the turned the machine on, the motor was trying to move/home it.

Even with the motor spinning freely it just kept going. I would think that when the amount of encoder pulses where reached it should stop spinning.

This lead me to believe there might be an encoder issue but testing the encoder itself seemed to deliver good results on both chanels.

Could the problem be an issue with the encoder readout of the PCB or is there anything else I can check first?
