Please let me know your opinion Model: Sony KDL 42W650A
Complain showing:
Blue vertical line, no picture when I connect to HDMI port. (FireStick)
When I remove all the cable it showing White colour around the edge of the LCD tv.

I was only trying to eliminate the remote possibility that it was a HDMI only problem.
Here’s an image of the No video troubleshooting flowchart taken from the service manual for the TV.

Hopefully a start.

Please let me know if OSD menu is not showing up, what ail should inspect before concluding it is a panel issue
for eg
if the ribbon cable damage will OSD menu display
No.
The OSD display is only to check if certain parts of the mainboard were faulty and the rest of the TV worked.
The OSD uses different sections of the mainboard to generate the video signal (it is in the firmware) and doesn't use the tuner or digital processor to translate the incoming signals before sending them onto the tcon/panel.
If the OSD doesn't show up either then it is a fault common to both i.e. the mainboard or the panel or the connection between the two
If you follow the flowchart it shows how to tell which one it is

Hi @invisiblebond ,
Have you tried different input types e.g. Component video, Composite video, co-ax etc, you didn't say?
Try connecting another signal source e.g. dvd player or TV antenna and check the result
Can you view the TV menu screens OK you didn't say?

No, I did not check, I don’t have the component video.
No, I cannot see the tv menu.
When I checked in the terrestrial channel model, ( press any number on remote, it will automatically switch to terrestrial mode.)
I cannot see the grains, blue line fade away after a few seconds, only black screen.
