A dead little thing on iPad 4's motherboard

Hi, my iPad 4 is not turning on but when i plug it to the macbook it sees my iPad. So i thought it’s the screen and I replaced it but nothing happened. I checked the motherboard and saw a little thing is damaged i think. What is it and is it repairable? Thanks. https://ibb.co/b6h8vfz

It looks like a burnt diode or resistor. You will need someone who does micrsoldering to repair it. You can get the part from a donor board or order the parts online.

Update (06/01/2020)

I would practice on dead boards and watch quite a few videos from jessa at iPad rehab ipadrehab.com and Jason at sts telecom ststelecom.com both have YouTube channels. You can pick up and entry level soldering station on Amazon. I would recommend the hakko fx 888d or if you want to go professional hakko fx951. Make sure to get a exhaust fan. They sell them on Amazon. You can also pick up practice boards to get your skills up. They cost about 5 to 10 dollars. It would also help if you have a microscope. I don't know if you are interested in doing this for a job and are just starting out. But if you are just doing this as a hobby. I hope this helps you.
