Can't get out of safe mode

Hey there. I have encountered a problem I never have before, and of course, Playstation “customer support" was zero help.

I turn my PS4 on and it boots up like it was turned off while it was running (it was, it accidentally got unplugged). After I connect the controller via USB and hit the PS button, it takes me to a screen that asks me to put in a USB stick with file update 7.50 or higher(thats a generalization as I am currently not in front of it)

Nothing I seem to do works. I don't have a USB stick to download the file from the Playstation website. I saw a couple videos, but nothing seems to fix my issue. It never even goes to the Safe Mode menu. Just that screen.

I hope I am not SOL here. Can anyone offer some advice(besides buying a USB stick-I can tomorrow but that doesn't help me tonight). Thanks.
