Persistent Controller Connection Issue

Hello everyone,

I’m going insane here…I’ve read hundreds of threads and still cannot seem to find a solution to my problem.

Problem: My wireless/wired controllers will no longer connect to my Xbox One.

Troubleshooting:

• I have used multiple controllers to test, the same result.
• My sync button on my Xbox is broken therefore syncing is not a solution.
• I have used 2 usb cables to connect the controllers directly, the usb cable is successful and acknowledges this by showing power (no battery pack in this controller to test)
• The USB cable will connect but does not pair any of the controllers with the Xbox, I have been to a friends house to ensure the controllers were all up to date. (His controllers never paired either)
