Nintendo Switch won't turn on. No battery icon in the corner.

This Switch hasn’t been used in a year or more and I’m trying to fix it. It doesn’t charge (there’s no battery icon) and before I begin tinkering with it I was hoping if anyone knew what the fuse is for? (it is shorted)
