speaker jack stuck in computer how do I get it out?

I have tried many ways to get the jack out but none have worked. It is very deep inside the computer I was just wondering if there is an easier non-glue related way of getting it out?

Hi @alyia289 ,

The audio line out connector on the back panel (if this is what you mean), is soldered onto the motherboard. The motherboard would have to be removed for it to be unsoldered and replaced as most probably the connector will be damaged.

A simpler option and possibly a less damaging way is to install a PCI sound card - examples only and then connect the speakers to it. There may be other suppliers that suit you better. Just search for Win 10 PCI sound card.

If you decide to do this remember to change the Integrated Audio setting in BIOS from On to Off.

What form factor is the PC, Tower, Desktop, SFF or USFF?

The form factor of the PC is important because if you have a SFF or USFF PC you will need a half height sound card.
