My PC is continuously failing to boot correctly.

I’ve looked everywhere, and I can not find an answer to this. I can’t even find a post that’s similar to my problem.

When I power my PC, it starts like normal for a moment. But before it gets to the bios screen it powers down and restarts. Then it starts booting but I have no way of knowing if it’s booting correctly because I lack all input and output. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, or headphones.

I have unplugged, and replugged in my GPU, along with taking out the ram and putting them back in to avoid some random misplacement. I can even get to the bios, so I’m not sure how to proceed.

It could be a bad power supply or outlet, but that’s a far fetched theory...

Hi @tubbynumnums ,

How do you know it is not getting to the "BIOS screen" without a monitor connected? I'm assuming you mean the manufacturer's logo screen?

What is the make and model number of motherboard if it is a custom build?

Also without a monitor and keyboard you will never know what's going on.

Has the computer got a system speaker connected to the motherboard?

If so you should hear error beeps if there is a problem during POST.

As to restarting, because you don't know what is really happening, anything is possible, such as a faulty PSU, motherboard, power switch or reset switch on the case etc

You need to have the basics for a computer, i.e. PSU, motherboard with RAM and CPU, GPU card unless there is onboard video, monitor and keyboard so that you can attempt to diagnose what is happening
