Charging starts after 24 hours

I have 2 Samsung Galaxy Note 800 (GT N8000) purchased on the same day. I have the original chargers.

Both my tablets, when put on charging show battery progress from 0 to full for first 24 hours. After almost 24 hours, does the battery actually start charging. This is same for both tablets with both chargers.

What could be the reason? is this due to some virus?
