IPD Flex ribbon cable attached the wrong way for a MacBook A1354

What would happen if you attach the IPD flex ribbon Keyboard flex ribbon cable going the wrong way from the keyboard to trackpad or trackpad to keyboard, and then power it on (basically installed upside down). Would that destroy the keyboard?

There are 2 different cables, but the one im worried about is this one:

and the way the image is shown is the correct way to install it, but what happens if you install it this way:

UPDATE: I replaced the trackpad with a working one from iFixit, and the trackpad and keyboard are working fine now. Thanks, see below for the accepted answer.

There’s a very large possibility you damaged the logic board and/or the trackpad! The cable is not a one for one connection, it’s polarized.

So either the trackpad or the logic board would be damaged, but what about the keyboard, would that also be damaged?

完成的

The keyboard connects via the trackpads logic. The keyboard its self is nothing more than a matrix of switches, similar to a Excel spread sheet of columns and rows. In them selves I doubt you damaged them.

Oh, sorry yes, I did not mean the IPD cable, I meant the keyboard flex cable. Thank you for clearing that up. I basically installed the keyboard cable upside down and powered on the computer. Would that damage the keyboard?

I don't think it would be damaged. I've not done enough of these systems to tell you one way or anther.
