Turned on my TV can see the picture but extremely Dark.
I went to turn on my tv today it was extremely dark and I could see the image but it was very faint. I held up a flashlight to the screen and no luck on making it brighter any ideas?

Try the following:
Turn off the TV (if on) and disconnect the power from the TV.
Remove the back cover from the TV
Disconnect the cable between the power board and the mainboard.
Reconnect the power to the TV and switch on the TV.
The TV’s LED backlights should turn on and stay on. There will be no picture on the screen as the mainboard is disconnected.
If the screen is still dull, then you have a backlight problem.
Here’s a video that may help as it shows how to determine if the problem is the LED backlight strips or the power board.
