Unstable when connected to Windows 10 via bluetooth

When connected to my windows 10 pc via bluetooth, around 30% of my inputs are simply not registered. Have tried on multiple games with the same issue though the amount of unregistered inputs can vary. Works perfectly if I connect via USB. I have tried to remove the device and reconnect multiple times, have also switched the batteries. Have moved the USB dongle to different USB ports in case there is an issue there. Have updated the controller firmware and USB dongle drivers.
