coffeemaker does not detect water

Hi there,

I have a D’Longhi Magnifica coffeemaker.

It is not able to sense the (full) water tank and the “no water” sign keeps on flashing.

Also, it does not rinse when turning on or off.

The machine grinds ok and discards the coffee dry.

The problem started when someone pulled out the water tank while the machine was making coffee. Seems that disturbed it, it stopped working after that.

Note: I only descaled the machine a few days ago.

Any ideas how to fix this would be most welcome.
