I have installed the new battery that was recently purchased and am now having an issue with it charging and sometimes the battery indicator doesn’t display. Please advise.

Do you still have your original battery? If you do lets slide this battery out and use your original battery to make sure its the battery.
CoconutBattery is not showing the any data so that implies the battery is not sending the data to the SMC logic so the system can offer it to the OS and any app’s like CoconutBattery.
If your original battery shows values then that proves the replacement is bad. Otherwise the pathway between the MagSafe charger to the SMC logic on the main logic board will need to be checked.

You got a bad replacement battery, return it with printouts of your two CoconutBattery outputs to prove it.

@tezarelli…what made you replace the battery in the first place? typically, after a new battery and its not charging still, could be a problem with the charging ic or port itself. also could be incorrect installation so i would double check the connector first.
