My iMac won't boot at all

Hi.

I have posted in Apple discussion, found no solutions with software. I think something must be wrong with hardware — was working fine yesterday, then must’ve updated (maybe overheated some part?) and now it will only show a white screen when I click the power button. No chime, no logo, no keyboard input either (using a wired keyboard). So can’t access safe mode, recovery, alt disk, NVRAM reset, anything. Resetting SMC doesn’t work either. I would maybe be willing to replace a cheap part but hope not to buy a new one. Any ideas? Thanks!

I just did and…..nothing :(

完成的

Try holding shift +control +option (while connected to power source) for 3 seconds the power on ...

If not try holding command +R and boot to safe mode

Seems like a corrupt OS or impartial download that’s causing this

Hope it isn't hardware, but it will literally not do anything no matter what keystrokes I press..........and smothering the keyboard doesn't work either ;)

However the USB ports are providing power. The DVD drive engages when the computer turns on. But no chime, no sign of life besides the blank white screen.
