Hi,

What do you mean by "resetting"?

Going back to no stored information e.g. no TV channels, no input information labels etc?

Are you using the remote control's Power button to turn the TV on or are you turning it on by pressing the Channel button or the Input button as some people seem to do?

Try disconnecting all input devices except one and check if it works OK on all HDMI inputs.

If so try any other input devices that were connected to the TV, one at a time on all inputs and check if they work OK or not as well.

Just trying to determine if the problem is in the TV or with a device connected to the TV.

Hi,

So just verifying, it turns on then shows HDMI 2 with no other screen display then turns off and then repeats this sequence over and over until what?

How do you stop this from happening? Do you press the TV's power button or do you have to disconnect the power from the TV?

OR

Does it turn on and show HDMI 2 with no display and just sits there with the power light blinking until you turn it off and then it does the same the next time you turn it on?

If this is the case count the number of blinks that is coming from the Power LED. It will be a repeating pattern e.g. 5 blinks > pause > 5 blinks > pause etc.

It was turning on and showing hdmi2 with no other screen display, I can turn up or down brightness etc but when I change source it would turn off then back on, I'm unable to keep up with the flashes but approximately 10+ green flashes as it starts up.

It's now not even turning on and continuously turning on and off by itself

Hi,

Disconnect the power from the TV and take off the back cover and check for any obvious damage such as heat stressed or burnt out components or blown or bulging capacitors especially on the power board.

If nothing is obvious then you will have to test the voltages on the board.

Be safety aware if you do this as there is potentially lethal exposed AC voltages on the board when you are testing for the DC voltages to see if they are present or not. If you don’t know what you’re doing, then don’t do it! It is not worth it, call the experts.

Here’s an image taken from the service manual for the TV showing the voltages on the board, which may help.
