New DS4 Controller Isn't Working
I don’t own a PS4, but I bought a DS4 controller to use on my PC. It didn’t come with a charging cable, but I was told that any micro USB charger would work with it. I have one that I use for my Kindle Fire, so I took the new DS4 controller out of the box and plugged it in and I’m not getting any response. I’ve tried it in the wall outlet and my PC and it isn’t lighting up at all. Did I do something wrong by using the Kindle charger? Should I get a Sony charger or is something wrong with the controller? Any help would be appreciated!
When you turn on the controller without charger, does it give a white flashing light? Did you tried to charge the controller with a USB > 110v (5V max) adapter (like a iPhone charger)? Does your computer recognise the USB device?
