PSU connector ripped from motherboard
I recently ripped the PSU connector of the motherboard. I know this’ll have to be soldered back on but since the pads have been ripped up also, what do I need to do before soldering it back?
Scrape the vias until you see copper. Where the bottom 2 arrows point. The other pad is there and the 1 with no via is probably ground so can be jumped from the ground side of the capacitor. Use epoxy to attach the connector then solder wires from the vias to the connector pins. Once done add some more epoxy for strength.
