Upgrade GPU/ Logic Board?
Can I put a 2013 27’ iMac Logic board with a better GPU In my 2012 iMac 27? Based on iFixit’s tear downs, both boards look identical.

Sorry to say I’ve not even tried!
While the systems share the same design the amount of work and costs makes it a bit questionable let alone the benefits of going with the newer board for the minor GPU chips improvements it offers.
What are you doing that needs more GPU performance? Are you already running with a i7 CPU and using a blade SSD?
I would recommend you look at getting a newer new or used system that meets your needs and sell yours.

Gaming. I prefer the 1440 monitor than a 5K one. If I could put a 2013 logic board in it going from a 2gig GPU to a 4gig would make a big difference.
Yes i7 and I have a fusion drive.
