Buying console eith no/broken disc drive.

Im considering buying a xbox one. I was looking at the all digital since they have gamepass now. However I think I just want to get an original with a broken/ missing disc drive. Is there anything in the bios that doesn't allow the xbox to boot without the drive? Im finding them this way for a huge discount if it works compared to just getting the all digital edition.
