Ask about the problem that your TV has as a new question on ifixit.
That way it will receive more attention than if it is buried in comments in an old thread.
State the make and the model number of the TV as well as what the problem is and what you have already tried.
Just keep to the relevant details though as long questions make it difficult sometimes. For example, you have tried a power reset and it didn't work or there was a storm or power outage just before the problem occurred, mention that in the question etc.
