Battery not Present / pluged in but not charging

i’ve replaced the battery with a new one.. everything seems to be working but not the battery

This is the problem

if i unplug the power chord the surface is powered by the battery but when i plugin the power chord it doesn’t recharge it still remain at 39% level (with message pluged in but not recharging and some Times switching to “battery not detected”).

Probably is the chip on the battery that is broken? 

I’ve done all the updates on the surface.
