Volume up turns volume down

I have a Shaw branded Arris MP2000 URC2054 remote from my cable provider (Shaw).

I programmed the remote. It turns the TV on/off, communicates with the PVR fine, though when I try to turn the volume UP, it turns the volume DOWN, and vice versa.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried searching for your problem on the Shaw support site or got in touch with their support department? Imho, doing so is a more logical course of action rather than posting to a world wide medium such as this site. And yes I am a Shaw user too. :-)
