No power to front interface wf45k6500a
My samsung wf45k6500a washing machine recently stopped turning on altogether. It's not the wall outlet, I plugged my vacuum into that. I checked continuity from the power cord, into the main control board, and up to the front user interface( I don't know what this is actually called. It's where the dial and buttons are located on the front), and that was not a problem. Could it be the blown fuse in the circuit or potentially a broken front interface?
If there is a blown fuse (none continuity) then yes that could be an indication of a component malfunction. The question is though, did the fuse die of "old age" or due to a malfunction component? One thing to try of course is to replace the fuse and see if it blows again. If it does or you don't want to replace it at this particular point in time, continue with your continuity and visual checks. Some appliances include a schematic (usually folded up and in the control board area).

Thanks. The washer is just over a year old so I hope its not "old age". The board is layered in some kind of plastic so I'm not exactly sure how to change out the fuse

Ive had the exact problem with my samsung washer (2.5yrs old now) and after a few times checking and cleaning all connections I could find and plugging back in, I eventually realized that leaving it unplugged long enough to do as I said above was somehow resetting it. I also downloaded the samsung smart washer app on my iphone and used it to read the code when I press smart check button and it isn't throwing any codes. So now I have a Maytag washer on my back porch waiting for when it finally wont reset. Longest ive had to wait so for is overnight, plug it back in, power turns on and works fine. I wont buy another Samsung washer. Ive replaced shocks, and the pump in the 2.5 yrs ive had it.
