1 Why is my new Moto G4 battery not charging.
I bought a new battery for my Moto G4 from ifixit because my Moto G4 wouldn’t charge or stay powered on. I installed the battery yesterday. Phone powered on and seemed to work okay. As per the instructions, I let the battery charge fall below 10% before plugging it up to charge it. I’ve been charging it for almost 20 hours and have tried different chargers that work with other devices. It will not charge above 15% and the phone will not stay powered on. Any advice or answers to my problem would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe it wasn't the original battery that wasn't the culprit causing your problems in the first place but rather some problem (such as component failure etc) in the phone's charging circuitry. Just a thought.
