My iMac is stuck on a question mark
After installing a new SSD I’m stuck on the question mark and unable to boot up.
Try to hold [alt] while you start the imac and you should see your system. If that was the Problem: Boot it up and go to the System Preferences->Startup Disk and choose your system as the Startup Disk.

@spaeder - The Apple keyboards are marked Option (⌥) as the primary marking.
If Spaeder’s answer does not work your drive likely has become corrupted or has failed. Try Command (⌘) and R keys to see if you can recover your OS, if you can’t you’ll need to get a new drive.
