I have a PS4 i bought Refurbished from Gamestop worked great for the first to years Now when it comes on i have to put it in sleep mode because if it turns off i end up having to leave it unplugged for hours or in some cases days To get it to come back on. It can also sometimes randomly turn off

Sounds like a overheated power supply from dust build up. I would start with getting that replaced first.
On which power supply model to get, refer to model number printed under power supply casing (ADP-xxxx)

this type of behavior is usually down to the system protecting itself from overheating. I’d start by checking the vents to see if there is much dust, dirt and debris in there, if so follow one of the teardowns and clean up as much as you can.

I thought as much but i haven't been getting the red light it flashes a blue Light the hard drive engages then it just goes dead until it finally decides to start
the red light is for critial overheating issues if there is still minimal airflow it may be just enough to stop it from dieing completly. Start by having a good clean to see how it react to that and if not the powersupply would be the next thing to check and can see Ben has commented with a link that will be sure to help you. Hope it gets sorted soon.
Note that red light can occur from fan being faulty as well so make sure air is coming out the back of the PS4.
there is air flow and it will run in sleep mode and full power mode for weeks but sometimes it just randomly shuts off and can take a day sometimes to get back on
i've just ordered a screwdriver from Amazon as soon as it gets here i will try dusting it
