LG HDMI Not Working?

I am having issues with the HDMI 2 hook up on my Ultra HD Smart LG LED TV. No matter what I plug into it I keep getting, ‘No Signal’ for that input. I have checked the item I tried plugging in and also tried plugging the cable into a different port. When plugged into a different input both the device and the cable work and I get a signal. It just doesn’t get a signal on HDMI input 2. Can I fix this or do I need a repairman?
