Inboard M1 RFLX Remote Ride Trigger not working

Something traumatic happened to the remote and the ride trigger will not make contact to allow the accelerator to engage. The trigger moves normally and the accelerator moves normally.

Upon disassembly I can see that the ride trigger does not have any component that will allow it to make contact and activate the accelerator. I did discover 3 pieces of metal caught in the goop that I believe are my dislodged parts.

Does anybody know how the contact is made with the ride trigger? Does it make contact with SW3 on the board when the trigger is depressed?

Version is Inboard Reflex Rev 1.1.
