Mine and my husband's Alcatel LX Model A502DL stopped sending or receiving call or texts but the internet still works fine. Anybody know why or what happened? They went down like this within a few hours of each other 5 days ago. With straight talk.

I have no answer for you but my Alcatel 502DL has started doing the exact same thing since a few days ago. I've tried everything including changing the APN settings to no avail. My guess is that it's something on Straight Talk's end that is screwing with the 502DL. I've seen a lot more people reporting the same problem on the web with Straight Talk and the 502DL in the last few days. If you find a solution please report it here as I will do the same. I just chatted with Tracfone representative who pointed out I have minutes and data left but no message balance. Maybe check yours on your Alcatel TCL LX A502DL .

I bought one last week for my grandson birthday. Yesterday it wouldn't send or receive texts. Today same thing. Just saying in red letters “could not send text” Any ideas about why? I searched Manuel I downloaded nothing about troubleshooting. Seems several have the same problem. I hope someone can help us.

Same issue. Mine started last night with the same phone. Customer support was worthless. Hoping I don't need to buy a new phone
