Car won't stay running.
Brand new fuel pump. Only starts with starting fluid. Idles then shuts off. Press throttle immediately stalls. Service engine light on.

Sounds like it’s not getting enough fuel. Could be a blocked fuel filter, EGR valve, mass airflow sensor, bad coil. Could be lots of things. Try pulling any stored codes via a diagnostics tool. Any codes should shed some light.

The mass airflow sensor located at or near the induction box. Try disconnecting it and start it. It should run and stay running, but will run rough. If this happens it maybe a mass air flow sensor.
