Transferring homebutton chips to a new one

Hi! So i got a free iPhone 7 Plus from a relative. The poor thing has been ran over with a car, fell into snow, and it’s battery, display, and homebutton got completely trashed in the process. I swapped these out, and it surprisingly works. But i want touchid & homebutton functionality. (I still have the original homebutton, you can see that with the picture below.) I heard that you can get some chips transferred from the old one and soldered to the new homebutton and it would work again along with TouchID. Is that possible? Thanks in advance! :) *sorry for any mistakes in my grammar, not a native speaker!

The Touch ID chip is under the shattered crystal, which means it is shattered as well, so there is no possibility of repairing anything.

Darn. That’s a pity then. Big shoutout to Apple for reducing our ways to repair the devices we bought..

Based on the picture and the background story, it’s going to be a headache. Honestly I would buy a temporary home button for the moment and ditch the Touch ID. I lost the Touch ID on my phone 2 months ago and it sucks without it but you really get used to it

Thing is, i would actually pay someone to do that, as i haven’t learnt how to solder yet. And since i use Apple Pay A LOT, not having TouchID would be an big, BIG pain.
