I have tried resetting but it’s not working and i tried opening the controller and seeing if the charging port is damaged but it was fine and the battery isn’t damaged because the controller lights up for 5 seconds before it dies but my other controller is charging and with the same cable

Still could be a bad battery, if you have a digital multimeter can you measure what voltage is on the battery? They should be hovering around 3.7V-4.2V.
Any lower may mean that the battery may have to be jump started with a DC bench power supply.
