My screen is showing a grey line. Is this an LCD issue?

I mostly do logic board repairs, so I don’t do a lot of screen replacements. I noticed the screen on this one was quite costly..

  1. Is it truly an LCD issue
  2. Is there any way to repair the LCD itself

I already checked and external monitor and it’s not showing a line obviously because it’s not a gpu issue. This one doesn’t even have a GPU

Thanks for any advice.

First your system has a graphics processor its just part of the CPU chip in your system.

Sorry to say your display had gotten damaged. A bang or something was dropped on the lid are the more common causes. Dan, You're a good man. I was hoping for some other solution, but I guess I'll have to buy the LCD!
