I have tried several times to hold down the power key, along with the volume keys. A little screen appears where I have a few options. I have chosen each of them, but the phone still continues to turn on and off. I barely got this phone, brand new, a few months ago from Simple Mobile. Any help would be very much appreciated.

There are methods that can be used in order to fix your phone that is power-cycling:
1. Check your protective case
Some protective cases are a little too snug and can actually put pressure on the power key causing the phone to power off or on sporadically.
2. Make sure the battery is snug
Make sure that it’s nice and snug and that the metal leads on the phone and battery are staying connected to each other.
3. Check the batteries condition
Check the Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI) on the battery and make sure that it is still white.
4. Run a battery test
5. Check your applications
6. Upgraded Software
7. Backup and reset
Resetting a phone is often a last resort for most situations but a factory data reset on an Android phone can often times fix most phone related issues, especially when it comes to software.

my keeps saying its temperature is low,it will shut down...and immediately after few seconds it goes off
@davidkanjungu93henda In most cases, both extreme heat and cold can damage the battery. Make sure your phone battery is in good condition.
The phone automatically shuts off. I can restart it but as soon as I make a selection it shuts off again. Uggghhhh!
@wyatt121emma Many things could be the culprit. It might be a dodgy app that you've installed, a sign that your phone is overheating, or that the battery is dying. Debug the issues one by one.

@alexvalles, cell phones nowadays are not made to be user-friendly; the days of being able to pop off the back of the phone and slide your thumb in the notch to remove the battery are long gone.
That being said, there are no phones where it is impossible to replace the battery, but the degree of difficulty varies widely, depending on the phone.
So despite your assertion that your battery cannot be taken out - it can. If you will provide the model number of your phone, there's a fair chance myself or one of the many other contributors here on this site can find a set of instructions that will show you how to replace your battery yourself.

I don’t have a answer but I know one thing my battery is one that cannot be taking out… there very little I can do to keep the power on…. It frustrating…

I have an Alcatel Flip phone 4, it has had this problem, too, I was sent a text from Sprint/T Mobile, that I needed an upgrade, and I ignored that text. Then I decided to download the upgrade and install it, that went well, only took a few minutes. It seems, so far, that the upgrade may have cured the problem, my fingers are crossed....
